UPS partners with the Burlington Northern Sante Fe Railroad (BNSF) to move its intermodal trailers and containers. During the peak winter months between Thanksgiving and Christmas, BNSF transports more than 50 million packages for UPS.

BNSF has had seven perfect Peak seasons without a service failure since 1995, including back-to-back seasons in 2002, 2003, and 2004.

Employees who go above and beyond the call of duty to prevent service delays get "Good Save" pins commending their efforts.
