Introduced to UPS Health & Safety Committees in 1996, the CHSP is a proactive process designed to improve safety performance within the workplace. As outlined in the graphic above, its key elements include: Management Commitment and Employee Involvement, Work Site Analysis, Hazard Prevention and Control, and Safety Education and Training. UPS is committed to sustaining a comprehensive health and safety process that drives improved results in occupational injuries, traffic safety and OSHA compliance.
