Soft Enamel Pins

These pins are very similar in production to traditional cloisonné and hard enamel pins except that a special resin (soft enamel) is utilized to provide colors. These pins are usually die-struck and have a slight "embossed" feel to them as the enamel is slightly lower than the metal ridges. Sometimes, an optional clear epoxy protective coating (dome) is then be applied to protect the soft enamel colors.
